Fourteen-Year-Old Boy Died Yesterday Morning--Appendicitis the Cause

  Sylvester Ray Swift died yesterday morning at 5:55 at the home of his mother, Mrs. Villa Swift, about five miles southeast of town, in the Havre vicinity. His age was 14 years, 2 months and 24 days. The cause of death was appendicitis, together with tuberculosis of the bowels. He was taken ill three weeks ago last night while at church, and his condition gradually became worse until his death yesterday morning. He is survived by five sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Charles Keating, Edith, Bessie, Ruth, Gertrude, William and Arthur, the father, George Swift having died four years ago, on the 23rd of March, 1904. The sorrowing family have the sympathy of a large number of friends and acquaintances in their sad bereavement. The death is unusually sad because of the youth of the deceased.
