James B. Tracey

  James Tracey, 80, a farmer who lived south of Corning, passed away Sunday morning at the Rosary Hospital in Corning. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, Feb. 6 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, conducted by Father Lloyd Connolly. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.

James Bernard Tracey

  James Bernard Tracey passed away at the Rosary Hospital in Corning, Iowa, February 4, 1973, after a short illness.
  The son of George and Catherine Nesbit Tracey, he was born in Taylor County and moved to the family farm four miles south of Corning at an early age. He was engaged in farming and lived at the family home all his life. He became a resident of Colonial Manor in Corning in August 1971.
  James was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
  He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Mary Tracey McEniry, Violet Tracey Curry and Mildred Tracey and four brothers, George, Hugh, Francis and Arthur Tracey; two brothers-in-law, John J. McEniry and Joseph N. Curry; a niece, Margaret McEniry and a nephew, Gerald J. Curry.
  Survivors include nieces and nephews, Elizabeth McEniry White, Houston, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Aslege, Minster, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Glen McEniry, Lincoln, Nebr.; Mary Belle Curry, Council Bluffs, Iowa; and by great-nieces and nephews; Hugh Hogan of Villisca and Vincent Hogan of Loveland, Colo., Sister M Claude Agnes of Dubuque and Bill Wood of Creston are cousins. Other cousins also survive.
  Those attending the services from a distance were: Elizabeth McEniry White and Joe Brocaio of Houston, Texas; Mary Belle Curry, Council Bluffs, Ia.; Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hogan, Villisca; Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Hogan, Loveland, Colo.; Bill Wood, Creston; Mrs. Albert J. Nelson, Council Bluffs; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard B…, Underwood and Don Curry, Massena.
  Funeral Mass was offered at ten o'clock a.m. February 6 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Corning, with Father Lloyd Connolly as celebrant. Rosary services were held at the Roland Funeral Home Monday night, Feb. 5. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
  Music was provided by Mrs. Wm. Kelly, with Mr. Kelly as usher. Pallbearers were John D. Jones, Edmund Talty, John Keefe, Homer O'Connell, Lloyd Leonard and Russell Vogel.
