  Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 4 at St. Joseph Church, New Almelo, for Aloysius "Allie" Vahling, 93. He died Monday, July 30 at the Andbe Home in Norton. He and Ruth McKenna were married on his 30th birthday and lived all their married life on the farm where he was born. They had one son, James R. "Dick" Vahling.
  Survivors include his wife, Ruth of the home, their son, Dick and his wife, Betty Vahling, Dresden; grandchildren, Michael Vahling, Greg and wife, Alesha Vahling, Lori Kollman and husband, Martin, and Eric Vahling and special friend, Jessi Puyer; great-grandchildren, Alyson and Dominic Vahling.
  He was preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings, J.C., Benny, Joseph and Henry Vahling, Minnie Wetter, Clara, Theresa, Marie and Elizabeth Vahling and Rose Mayefski.
