| Mrs. Byron Vastine dies in Davenport
Mrs. Byron Vastine died Sunday evening, July 12, at her home in Davenport.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning and burial will be in
the Richland Cemetery.
Mrs. Vastine, the former Teresa Swift, was born on a farm east of
Washington, a daughter of J. C. Swift and Mary Rimmer Swift.
She is survived by four children and four sisters: Mrs. C.C.
(Julia) Wilson, Mrs. Charles (Gertrude) Ragan and Mrs. John (Martha)
Wheelan, all of Washington, and Mrs. Leonard (Martina) Bailey of Davenport.
