Brian P. Verschoore
Brian P. Verschoore, 47, of Milan, died Tuesday, Feb. 14,
2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. on Saturday at St.
Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the
Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan, where a private
family wake service will be held. Private inurnment will be Monday at
Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the
Iowa Donor Network.
Brian was born Oct. 8, 1964, in Moline, a son of Daniel and
Sharon DeWilde Verschoore. He married Tiffany Morrissey on Oct. 14,
1995, in Moline.
He worked in general building maintenance for the city of Moline
and previously at the Bettendorf Holiday Inn.
Brian was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan. He
enjoyed playing euchre, socializing with his friends at Mr. Ed's and
vacationing in Mexico. Brian also enjoyed watching football; he
especially liked the Kansas City Chiefs and University of Wisconsin
Badgers. He liked listening to music and was a fan of Johnny Cash,
Conway Twitty and Elton John.
Survivors include his wife, Tiffany; children, Breanna Verschoore
and Marcus Morrissey, both of Milan; his parents, Dan and Sharon
Verschoore, Moline; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dana and Jeff Widdop,
Milan, and Donna and Jim Winn, Coyne Center; brothers and
sisters-in-law, Jeff and Paula Verschoore, Van Horne, Iowa, and Kevin
and Wendy Verschoore, East Moline; and a number of nieces and nephews.
