Obituary

  Monmouth, Ill., Feb. 21.--(Argus News Service) -- Funeral Services for Charles M. Whelan were conducted at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church. The mass was said by the Rev. W. J. Drummy and the sermon was preached by the Rev. R. A. Scheuth.
  Mrs. Catherine Arentx and Miss Margaret Jones sang, accompanied by Miss Mary Elizabeth Landuyt.
  Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery in Monmouth. Pallbearers were L. C. Dennison, Ross Montgomery, Arthur Unckles, Henry Johnson, Arthur Winebright and Keith Young.
