State Housing Inspector Dies Of Heart Attack
Stanley M. White, who had served for the past eight years as district
inspector for the State Division of Housing, died yesterday in the Parks
Victory Memorial Hospital, the victim of a heart attack suffered at home
24 hours previously.
Mr. White, who was born in Benton Harbor, Mich., 53 years ago,
had made his home in Napa for the past year, coming here from San
Rafael. The family home is located at 1062 Redwood road.
He is survived by his widow, Florence White of Napa, and was the
father of Dennis L. White of Napa, Gordon S. White of San Francisco,
Charles White of Palo Alto, Mrs. Darwin Pond, Jr., of Fort Belvoir, Va.,
and Mrs. Daniel Mack of Rock Island, Ill.
His mother Mrs. Julia C. White of Port Huron, Mich., also
survives, and he was the brother of Mrs. Dalton Love of Port Huron,
Richard White of Port Huron and Lyle White of Muskegon, Mich.
Eight grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the
Treadway Garden Chapel.
