Breda - Anthony (Tony) Wilberding, 73, of Breda, died
Wednesday evening, Feb. 25, at St.. Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll.
Arrangements are pending at the Sharp Funeral Home in Breda.

Anthony (Tony) Wilberding
Breda - Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated for
Anthony (Tony) Wilberding, 73, of Breda, at. 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28,
at St. Bernard church here with the Rev. Robert McClintock officiating.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Mr. Wilberding, a farmer, former
manager of the Breda Grain Company and a past director of the Breda
Telephone Corporation, died at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at St.
Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll after a long illness.
Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Breda after 2 p.m.
Friday. Rosaries will be recited at the funeral home at 3 and 7:30 p.m.
Friday and a scriptural prayer service will be conducted by the parish
there at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Leon Oswald, Joe Schumacher, Walter Wernimont,
Wayne Schelle, Bob Kanne and Jerome Goecke. Wayne Brincks will be
lector; Bob and Pat Masching and Steve Snyder mass-servers and
granddaughters Peggy Reiff and Lisa Jennewein gift-bearers.
Surviving are his wife Evelyn; nine children: Mrs. Richard
(Alice) O'Brien, Carroll; Mrs. Lonnie (Evelyn) Kropf, Breda; Donald,
Dayton, O.; Edward, Norwich, Vt.; Mrs. Joe (Myrna) Niewohner, Scribner,
Neb.; Mrs. Art (Marilyn) Reiff, Carroll; Larry, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.;
Merle, Dayton, O., and Mrs. Bill (Shirley) Jennewein, Springfield, S.D.;
35 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Lois in infancy; two
grandchildren, Terry and Scott Wilberding, and a brother Alfred Wilberding.
Mr. Wilberding was born Mar. 9, 1907, at Breda, a son of Frank
and Mary Wessling Wilberding. He received his education in Breda. He was
married Jan. 22, 1929, to Evelyn Goecke at St. Bernard church by the
late Rev. Schulte. He was a member of St. Bernard Church.
