Mrs. Foster Wiley

  Montezuma Palladium: Mrs. Foster Wiley died last Saturday at her home in Malcom, lacking two days of being seventy-six years of age. The funeral service was held Tuesday morning, and the body was then brought here for burial. Her maiden name was Rachel Ramsey and she was born in Ireland, November 8, 1839.
  She was married to Foster Wiley October 29, 1859. To this union eleven children were born, seven of whom are still living.
  In 1873 the family came to Iowa and located on a farm northeast of Montezuma, where they resided for many years. Twenty two years ago they move to Malcom, which has ever since been their home.
  Mrs. Wiley was a devoted wife and mother, a devout Christian, and her daily life was an inspiration to all her friends.
