William J. Willenborg

  Dedham - William J. Willenborg, 55, a Dedham farmer, died Monday, January 31, at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha where he had been a patient for the past two and a half weeks.
  Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 3, at St. Joseph church in Dedham with the Rev. Walter Bruch as celebrant. Dale Sporrer will be lector; Dave, Pat and Art Sporrer mass-servers. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Casketbearers will be George Grossman Sr., George Grossman Jr., Louis Klocke, Don Mikkelson, Ray and Joe Sporrer.
  Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rosaries will be recited at the funeral home at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.(parish) and a scriptural prayer service will be conducted at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.
  Mr. Willenborg is survived by his wile, Joan, Dedham; two sons: William Jr., Dedham, and Mark, Carroll; his mother, Mrs. Catherine Willenborg, Dedham; two sisters: Mrs. Emma Mayer, Carroll, and Mrs. Betty Wurzer, Coon Rapids; a brother, George Willenborg, Guthrie Center, and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Hilda Wurzer, Willey.
  He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Leon Wurzer; his father George Willenborg and his father-in-law John Wurzer.
  Mr. Willenborg was born December 4, 1927, at Dedham, a son of George and Catherine Kettman Willenborg. He grew up in Dedham and attended school there. On January 20, 1953, he was married to Joan Wurzer at St. Mary church in Willey by the late Rev. H. J. Dries. After their marriage, they moved to a farm two miles west and a mile north of Dedham, their present address. He was a member of St. Joseph Church.
