Injuries in Crash Fatal For Wolford

Lake City - Glen Wolford, 43, Auburn, who was injured in an
automobile accident Wednesday, Nov. 25, two miles south of Lake View,
died Wednesday at Loring Hospital, Sac City. The accident also took the
life of Mrs. Violet Anderson.
Funeral services for Mr. Wolford will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Saturday at the Huffman Funeral Chapel in Lake City with the Rev. M. H.
Kennedy, pastor of the Auburn Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial
will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Auburn. Friends may call after 7 p.m.
today at the funeral home.
A son of Jessie Armagost Wolford and Delbert Wolford, Mr. Wolford
was born May 6, 1921, at Pocahontas. He was a graduate of the Early High
School and served in the Army Air Force during World War II.
His wife, the former Carol Cline, died in 1950. Since then he and
his family lived with his mother in Auburn. He was preceded in death by
his wife, father and a brother.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Jessie Wolford of Auburn; a
daughter, Denise of Lake City, and a son, Ronald of Auburn; three
sisters, Mrs. Foster Steele of Early, Mrs. Richard Waters of Milwaukee,
Wis., and Mrs. William Wadsworth of Des Moines.
