Carrie E. Zitzlsperger

  Mass of the Christian burial for Carrie E. Zitzlsperger of Willey will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 1997, at St. Mary Church in Willey.
  Mrs. Zitzlsperger, 101, died Monday, Oct. 6, 1997, at Carroll Manor.
  The Rev. Craig Collison will officiate the Mass. Lector will be Zeb Spaulding. Gift bearers will be Shirley Mosman and Mary Moser. Catholic Daughters of America will form an honor guard.
  Casket bearers will be Wayne Zitzlsperger, Robert Zitzlsperger, Roger Spaulding, Zeb Spaulding, Gene Moser and Craig Mosman.
  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery at Willey.
  Friends will call after 2:30 and Catholic Daughters of America will recite a rosary at 3 Thursday afternoon at Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. St. Mary Parish will hold a Christian wake service 7:30 Thursday night at the funeral home.
  She was born Nov. 3, 1895, at Danbury, a daughter of Peter and Mary (Renze) Rosauer, and spent her younger years in the Danbury community, attending St. Mary School.
  She moved to Carroll County at age 16, working for and living with the Chris Meyers family.
  She and Frank Zitzlsperger were married Feb. 28, 1922, at St. Mary Church in Willey.
  The Zitzlspergers settled on a farm eight miles south of Carroll.
  Mrs. Zitzlsperger moved to Carroll Manor in 1991.
  She was a member of St. Mary Parish, the Ladies Guild, the Rosary Makers Club and the Carroll Catholic Daughters of America.
  Mrs. Zitzlsperger is survived by a brother-in-law, Bill Zitzlsperger, and his wife, Helen, of Carroll.
  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank, in1980; seven sisters: Lena Mosman, Tillie Zitzlsperger, Mamie Miller, Margaret Brady, Josephine Hasl, Catherine Zitzlsperger and Ursula Handeland; and four brothers: Joseph, Peter, Albert and George Rosauer.
