Sheri Babcock is married to Thomas Mack
In Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Moline, Sheri Babcock,
Moline, and Thomas Mack, Taylor Ridge, were united in marriage at 3 p.m.
Sept. 11. The Rev. Edward Bush, pastor, and the Rev. Thomas Mack,
LaSalle, cousin of the bridegroom, officiated.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Birdge J. Babcock, 205
28th Ave., Moline, and Mr. and Mrs. James R. Mack, 11210 134th Ave. W.,
Taylor Ridge.
The bride chose a gown of polyester lace and sheer organza over
taffeta styled with Queen Anne neckline, long full sleeves and full
skirt extending into a chapel train. A headpiece of lace held her
chapel-length veil bordered in matching lace.
Ann Marie Babcock, Eldridge, Iowa was maid of honor for her
sister. Sandra Peterson, Rock Island, cousin of the bride, and Lisa
Mack, Taylor Ridge, sister of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids.
Jennifer Mack, Taylor Ridge, sister of the bridegroom and
Elizabeth Babcock, Moline, niece of the bride, were flower girls.
Carrying the rings was Thomas Babcock, Moline, nephew of the bride.
Jeff VanThournout, Moline, served as best man. David VanThournout,
Rock Island, and Jeff Thorpe, Bettendorf, were groomsmen, and guests
were seated by Dan and David Mack, Taylor Ridge, the bridegroom's brothers.
A reception was held at the American Legion clubrooms in Milan.
The couple are residing in Boise City, Okla.
Mrs. Mack was graduated from Alleman High School and her husband
from Rockridge High School, Edgington. He is employed by a rancher near
