Couple honored in Reynolds on 25th date
REYNOLDS - Mr. and Mrs. Francis Mack, Reynolds were the guests
of honor Friday night at a surprise party held in their honor by their
children to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. Many friends and
relatives were present. The following day, the couple left for a
one-week Florida vacation.
The former Donna Farwell of Port Byron was married to Francis
Mack of Reynolds on July 27, 1941 in St. Catherine's Roman Catholic
Church, Aledo. Following a tour of Army duty, the couple resided in the
Reynolds area, where they have lived since.
The couple are the parents of four children - Tom, who is
presently studying for the priesthood at St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Terry
(Connie) Griffin of Reynolds; Mrs. Richard (Carol) Wiegel of Carbon
Cliff; and Lori, who will be a senior at Rockridge High School this
fall. The couple also have one granddaughter, Angela Griffin, age five.
Mack is employed as a rural mail carrier for the Rock Island Post
