Hall, McCann wed at Harlan Methodist Church
Margaret Wareham Hall of Iowa City and Kyle David McCann of
Omaha, Neb., were married May 28, 2005, at the United Methodist Church in Harlan.
The bride is the daughter of Rob and Liz Hall of Harlan. The
groom is the son of Steve and Jane McCann of Creston.
The Rev. Ed Frank of Harlan and the Rev. Peggy Hall of
Omaha, Neb., aunt of the bride, performed the 4 p.m. ceremony. Music was
provided by pianist Diane Lawson, trombonists Steve Lawson and Dale
Menning, trumpetists Kery Lawman and Derek Chapman, all of Harlan, and
vocalist Kate Gammell of Johnston.
Maid of honor was Emily Hall of Iowa City, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Kristen McCann of Clarinda and Kari McCann of Creston,
sisters of the groom; Kristin Koch of Sioux City; Krista Mathis of
Varsity Lakes, Australia; Kelly Hauser of Iowa City and Margo Knorr of Minot, N.D.
Bride's personal attendants were Cari Hoeman of Creston and Sarah
Niver and Kara Peterson, both of Iowa City.
Best man was Todd Stalker of Creston, Groomsmen were Dallas Clark
and Jason Baker, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; Ben Hall, brother of the
bride, Corey McKie and Brandon Cross, all of Iowa City; and Nick
Jannings of Cedar Rapids.
Groom's assistant was Cameron Kiersch of Iowa City.
Ushers were Michael Dolezal of Chanhassen, Minn., Ben Sobieski of
Buffalo, N.Y., Anthony Herron of Atlanta, Ga., Alonzo Cunningham of Iowa
City; Ryan Key or North Liberty; and Michael Cass of Minneapolis, Minn.,
cousin of the bride.
Candlelighters were Jennifer Bruce of Keokuk and Laci Struble of
Des Moines, cousins of the groom.
Guest book hostesses were Laurel Perkins Hall of Iowa City,
sister-in-law of the bride, and Tammi Thompson of Glenwood.
Program attendants were Katie Boeding of Ankeny, cousin of the
groom, and Kara Peterson of Iowa City.
Gift attendants were Rick and Sheryl Harrell of Afton and Denny
and Karen Struble of Creston, uncles and aunts of the groom.
A reception was held at the home of Rob and Liz Hall, parents of
the bride, hosted by Ron and Ruth Clinton of Creston, and Joe and
Amy Cass of Rochester, Minn., uncle and aunt of the bride. Servers were
Sadie Uthe of Colorado, cousin of the bride, and Maggie Winchell of Eden
Prairie, Minn., aunt of the bride.
Honored guests were Robert and Ruth Harrell of Thayer,
grandparents of the groom; and Traverse and Roberta Hall of Neola and Dick and Gretchen Lee of Dubuque, grandparents of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Iowa and the
University of Iowa College of Law. She is employed by Telpner, Peterson,
Smith, Ruesch, Thomas and Simpson law office in Council Cluffs.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Iowa and attending
Creighton University College of Law in Omaha, Neb.
The couple reside in Council Bluffs.
