Mack-Nyboer Vows Spoken In Orion Catholic Church
CAMBRIDGE--In Mary, Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Orion,
marriage vows were exchanged by Miss Sharon Kaye Nyboer, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Nyboer, 206 W. Locust St., Cambridge, and Lawrence
Patrick Mack, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mack, Taylor Ridge, at 10 this
morning. The Rev. C. J. Hollerich read the double-ring ceremony.
A long gown of bridal satin accented with Alencon lace applique was worn
by the bride. The semi-full gown featured a scoop neckline and chapel
train. A satin rose highlighted with pearls on the petals held the
bride's bouffant silk illusion veil, and she carried an arrangement of
bronze pompons on a white Bible.
Miss Josephine Mack, Taylor Ridge, sister of the bridegroom, was
maid of honor, wearing a floor-length gown of gold organza over silk.
Her nosetip veil was held by a matching headpiece of brocade ribbon
edged in pearls. She carried a single bronze mum.
Louis Mack, Taylor Ridge, was his brother's best man, and ushers
were John Nyboer, Orion, brother of the bride, and Jerry Colman, Rock Island.
When the couple returns from a trip to the western states, they
will reside in Rock Island.
Mrs. Mack was graduated from Orion High School and St. Mary's School of
Practical Nursing, La Salle. She is employed at Oak Glen Home, Coal
Valley. Her husband was graduated from Alleman High School and is
engaged in farming.
A reception was held this afternoon at The Palms, Silvis. |
