Mary Reinart is Wed in Davenport Church
Mary C. Reinart and Leamon C. Sandifer, both of Davenport,
were married in a nine o'clock ceremony at. St. Anthony Catholic Church
in Davenport Saturday, Sept. 3. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Eugene J. Reinart, 221 East Seventh Street, Davenport, formerly of
Carroll. The bridegroom's parent are Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Sandifer, Alexandria, La.
The Rev. O. B. Woltering performed the marriage rites. Members of
the wedding party included Margaret Laird, Davenport, maid of honor,
Carol Cavanaugh and Jean Dolan, both of Davenport, bridesmaids; Pamela
Moore, a niece of the bride, Glidden, flower girl; Robert E. Reinart,
brother of the bride, best man. Guests were seated by Kenneth Morgan and
Joseph King, both of Davenport.

The bride's gown of French Chantilly lace and nylon tulle was
styled with molded bodice, Queen Anne collar and long, tapered sleeves.
The floor-length bouffant skirt of tulle featured wide hands of lace and
jewel trim. A tiny queen crown held her silk illusion veil, which fell
to fingertip length. She carried a Colonial bouquet in white.
Her attendants wore ballerina-length gowns of emerald green
satin. Their hats, with circular veils, were of the same material. Their
Colonial bouquets were in pink.

The wedding reception was held in the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Sandifer are taking a trip to Wisconsin Dells, Wis.
Their address will be 221 East Seventh Street, Davenport, until Oct. 1,
when they will make their home in Alexandria, La.
While living in Carroll, the bride attended Kuemper High School.
She graduated from Immaculate Conception Academy in Davenport, and has
been employed by Prudential Insurance Company of America. Her husband, a
graduate of Morgan City High School, Morgan City, La. is presently
attending Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport, expecting to
graduate Sept. 24. |
