Grace Wheelan Is Wed to Foster A. Farnsworth at Early Morning Ceremony

  Miss Grace Marie Wheelan 537 Nineteenth street, Rock Island, was married to Foster A. Farnsworth, also of Rock Island, at 5:45 o'clock this morning in the rectory of St. Joseph's Catholic church, Rock Island.
  The Rt. Rev. Msgr. P. H. Durkin, V. G., rector of St. Joseph's, officiated. There were no attendants. Immediate relatives were guests.
  The bride was attired in a maria blue ensemble with dark blue hat and accessories. She wore a waist corsage of pink Briar Cliff roses, delphinium and babybreath.
  The wedding breakfast for 16 relatives was served at the Fort Armstrong hotel, Rock Island. White tapers and flowers in pastel shades decorated the table.
  Mr. Farnsworth and his bride left this morning for a month's wedding trip west. They will go to Glacier national park, Portland, Ore.; San Francisco, Calif.; Salt Lake City, Utah and Denver, Colo. Mrs. Farnsworth wore a dark blue triple sheer ensemble with matching accessories.
  The couple will reside at 537 Nineteenth street, Rock Island.
  Mrs. Farnsworth is the daughter of Mrs. Charles R. Wheelan, 537 Nineteenth street, Rock Island, and the late C. R. Wheelan, pioneer Rock island mortician. She has been active in the auxiliary to Rock Island post No. 200, American Legion, and King's Daughters' projects. Mrs. Farnsworth sponsored Worthwhile and Serve-Thee-Well junior circles of King's Daughters. She also has served on the boards of the Rock Island Visiting Nurse association and the Rock Island Welfare association.
  Mr. Farnsworth, the son of Mrs. Mary Farnsworth of Hull, Ill., has resided in Rock Island four years. He is in the passenger department of the Burlington railroad. He attended Illinois college at Jacksonville.
  Out of town guests at the wedding were the bridegroom's mother and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd O. Smith and son, Kenley, of Hull. Mrs. Smith is a sister of Mr. Farnsworth.
  The bride's mother entertained immediate relatives of the couple at dinner last night at the Harper House, Rock Island.
