Anniversary Is Celebrated at Family Dinner in Preemption

  Preemption, Ill., Oct. 1-(By Argus News Service.)-Mr. and Mrs. Michael Mack of Preemption celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Sunday at a family dinner at noon, served to 30 relatives and friends. Open house was held in the afternoon.
Mrs. Mack is the former Miss Ethel Wheelan of Washington, Iowa. She was married to Mr. Mack, Sept 28, 1910 at St. James Catholic church in Washington and have resided in Preemption since their marriage.
  Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Shockley and daughter, Sylvia, of Waterloo, Iowa; Miss Esther Wheelan of Washington, Iowa; the Rev. J. S. Shields of Aledo; Mr. and Mrs. William Mack and family of Taylor Ridge; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mack and daughter Margaret Ann of Taylor Ridge; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mack, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mack and children, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Mack of Viola; Mary Elizabeth and Bernard Mack of Davenport.
  There are nine children, Leo, John, Daniel, William, Francis, James and John Robert Mack, at home and Mary Elizabeth and Bernard Mack of Davenport.
