I liked this episode. It was very interesting even
though there was little or no character development
aside from the lecture that Reed and Tripp got, I
thought that was fabulous because that kind fo
behavior was stupid and risky. I did not think at the
time that it would instrumental to the plot later on.
The replicator technology of the aliens is very
advanced. They only want things that cannot be
repliated like warp plasma. but it seems that the
other items that were possible payment options could
be replicated or maybe they can't be. The question is
why the station does these repairs at all. I suppose
that in doing the repairs they take away damaged parts
and simply recycle them to make new ones.
At the end when the station started reassembling
itself I thought that was ridiculous. surely the
brains running the station would have been destroyed
by the explosion.
