Sorry but I saw some character developement in a fun story. Yes, it
is a version of Elen of Troyas but the "alien women" had a lot more
character than the comparable in the tos episode. And a demeaner of
Trip; not only did he have to fight to stay alive but to deal with
her as well. I got the idea that their feelings were genuine at the
end. A very satisfying episode.

You're absolutely right. 100% unnecessary.

That we know of. :]

Nice touch. Who cleaned them??
I'm surprised T'Pol didn't go crazy from
the smell, remember, 8 days.

LOL, didn't think of that. :]
T'Pol's not going to like that.

> 5) The chef gets a walk-on scene - headless of course.

That was hysterical.

> The crew, dog, and exotic animals can all fit and stay in the
catwalks for 8 days without any of the men growing a beard.

I'm guessing electric shavers.

When I first watched the show, I thought it was pretty decent. Then I
read MJC's review and I got to thinking. There is no doubt that the
producers could have really developed the interpersonal relationships
among the crew during cramped quarters. I thought Hoshi got kinda
left out. The dramatic element of having the aliens take over the
ship was indeed weak.

Nearly Headless Chef.

Why would the men grow beards? It isn't as though they were marooned
with whatever they could scrounge from a sinking ship. They employed
whatever means are used at that time for shaving. Dunno if beards or
mustaches are even allowed on Enterprise.

So, was this first time in Star Trek history toilets were
acknowledged?
