It reminded me of Dr. Who episodes that I've seen (later Tom Baker
years), then just as I was thinking that, he called those buried
outside
"companions". That was kind of eerie.

He had one line and I think he was briefly glimpsed sitting at the helm.
He was off filming either an episode of Boomtown or Without A Trace at
the time.

I was thinking, and you know what they should have done with this
episode? They should have kept Tarquin in his human form until the
very end. That way, Hoshi could have toyed with the idea of
staying with him, because she was sexually attracted to him. Of
course it would have helped if they had chosen a better looking
actor for the role. At the very end, she could have been creeping
around his mansion and discovered his true, ugly appearance, and
realized that she couldn't stay with him. It would have been more
interesting and dramatic that way. As it was, we never really
thought Hoshi was considering staying for a single second.

He was on the bridge when all the lights went out, and had a line to the
effect of "all ship's power is down." To be honest, when "Archer"-alien
told Hoshi that "Travis will miss you," it took me a minute to remember
who Travis was.

I've thought Hoshi was 10 times hotter than T'Pol from day 1. Seeing
skimpy dress only confirmes it.
