No, actually, they don't. Hoshi says she doesn't want to know.

Interesting, given the names of the first two Space Shuttles...

I too really enjoyed E2, and if I could address a couple of points,
just to
put in my two cents' worth ...

Even though Lorian was the prodigy of T'Pol

I think that Lorian had more Archer influence in his life than Trip
influence. Remember, Lorian said his father died when he was 14. Now,
we
don't know how long exactly Archer lived, but we can reasonably guess
he was
fairly old when he died because of the way he's talked about.
Therefore
Lorian would have had at least 30 more years to learn from Archer
than he
did from Trip. It's only natural to emulate your predominant "father
figure", if you want to put it that way. I didn't think it was out of
character at all. It's been my opinion that the only Archer/T'Pol
relationship took place in the events of "Twilight" and its alternate
future, not E2's.

Yeah, been doing too much thinking on that this weekend and I DO have
a
headache already ... LOL ...

I liked this scene. It was fun to see them talking about their
future/past
lives, even knowing they would probably not happen in this timeline.

Good question. Do the Kovalaans (is that the right race?) consider the
corridor part of "their" territory? Who actually invented the subspace
corridor technology? If the Kovaalans did, or were first to discover
it,
they might consider it "theirs" and be resentful of intruders ...

Kewl! I live at the confluence of the Columbia, Yakima, and Snake
rivers
here in Washington State. We *like* the name COLUMBIA a LOT!!

And you could see Archer just thinking, I'm not even going to TRY to
explain
this to him!!

I agree ... at first blush it could have been a boring retread, but
the
differences in situation and time made for a good, dramatic show!

Somebody (I've been missing some of my mail, thanks Yahoo!) was
wondering
why Lorian's Enterprise didn't develop more advanced shielding while
they
were waiting for Archer ... my opinion is that they were trapped in
the
expanse, right?, so therefore they were limited to species with whom
they
could trade and/or acquire technology. If the stars were shifted
around (due
I'm guessing to the sphere's effects), they would have been hard-
pressed to
figure out which way to go, let alone who to contact for assistance.
Remember the Vulcans aren't too keen on sharing their technology, and
the
Andorians 117 years ago were probably even more warlike and
duplicitous than
they are now ...

Just some of my rambling thoughts ...
