I have to agree with you this was a great episode. I loved all the
action that was packed into this one hour episode. I had never seen
the episode of TOS that shows the Defiant disappearing. I taped last
Friday's episode and watched it Saturday night when I got home from
work. To my surprise on the SCI-FI channel at 3:00am was the TOS
episode where they find the Defiant and the crew is dead and it
looked like they all killed eachother. It really filled in a lot of
gaps that I would not of understood from the Enterprise episode. I
don't know if the SCI-FI Channel planned airing that episode the next
night. Well anyway it was perfect timing!!

Just makes me all the sadder that there are only 4 more episodes left. I
guess it makes each of the ending episodes all that more precious to
watch.

I too agree that the Production design was great. It reminded me of
DS9's tribute to the "Trouble with Tribbles" episodes.

Phenomenal stuff.

Not just Mayweather, but Reed too! Though Mayweather
was a bit more surprising to see as a MACO.

You must play a much more interesting version of chess than I do.

My only comment is with all that back-stabbing and scheming how does
anything get done?

That type of command structure would never work. Take the word of an ex
Navy officer, me.

The alt-Tholians exploded a tri-colbalt bomb to open a rift between
universes. They then lured the Defiant through with a fake distress
signal. I hereby urge the Empire to also explode tri-colbalt bombs to
create rifts between universes, in order to capture alternate universe
ships and invade alternate universes!
