MJC Review:
The Drama -

Boo! I found this episode to actually be quite funny. Really! It was funny. I know the premise was to get the viewer a sense of scary-stuff going on, but the way it was portrayed was hilarious! And Vulcans walking around a like Zombies on a ghostly ship just cracked me up!! This was like a satire or parody of 1950's horror films.

On to a more serious critique (and I'll try not to be funny)...

I thought that this was a great opportunity for T'Pol's real emotions to be expressed in these scenes. Although, there was some of that, it wasn't enough to make one saw "wow" or be emotional engaged in her character's struggle to overcome what was happening to her. Don't get me wrong, the scenes were ok. It just had a lot more potential for T'Pol than what was done.

This episode should have been saved for Halloween week. It would have fit right in. I kept thinking of other more practical names for this one like: "Night of the living Dead Vulcan", "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Vulcan Ship", "Vulcans Gone Wild", and "I was a Teenage Vulcan Zombie". You get the idea!

Tid Bits -
1) Mayweather was demoted to just flying shuttle pods for this episode. Judging by how he landed on the asteroid, I can see why.

2) Looks the Enterprise has only two shuttlepods for this Xindi mission.

3) I thought Vulcans were much stronger than humans? In those fight scenes, it seemed like the humans were able to kick Vulcan-butt quite well.

4) I like the STAR TREK: Enterprise title. It just feels better now.

What it all means -
T'Pol goes mad.
3 cool peace signs
