MJC Review:
The Drama -

This was quite a refreshing episode to watch. Some good writing, directing, and acting along with just the right amount of action to keep the viewer interested at all times. Everything seemed to flow smoothly.

It was quite ironic that Archer's first intentions were to blow up the complex, only later to turn around and not do so. That was some good turn-around on the story plot. As Archer talked (aka interrogated) more to the Xindi foreman, Gralik, he began to realize that not all Xindi are aware let alone behind the destruction of earth. One sees some real character relationship and trust develop between Archer and Gralik. The scenes with them were quite good. Of course, Archer had to play his role as superior office in keeping trigger happy Reed from blowing the place to kingdom come. Previous episodes show a somewhat xenophobic attitude towards the Delphi Expanse inhabitants including the Xindi.  Perhaps, this episode marks a turnaround in that attitude.   In the end, I think that Archer has a much broader view of the Xindi culture and what kind of mission he thinks this should be about.

After the ending, I felt like I had just watched a good X-files episode.

Tid Bits -
1) Is Mayweather absent again?

2) So, how many producers are there? The beginning credit listed about half a dozen.

3) Nice background story on the Xindi. Perhaps we might eventually see the Avian variety.

4) Xindi hand weapons are powered by slugs.

5) The looks of the Xindi sloth kind of reminded me of the Orangutans in 'Planet of the Apes'.

What it all means -
"Not all Xindi are your enemy."
