Outlook: Last year's team had a big group of seniors, and it may be difficult to replace them. Newcomer Josh Dorman will take over at QB, and Jacob Greyson will step in at RB. On defense, the LB core of William LeBlanc, Justin Burton and Calvin Lakes is a solid group. Top WR Corey Hines should be a key target. Both lines are veteran and solid. Skill position talent is young and inexperienced. The year has a lot of questions that need to be answered.

Outlook: The Porcupines have 34 Seniors on the roster this season, and coach Brad Turner thinks his squad has major strengths both on offense and defense. On offense, WRs are talented and deep with Clayton Cooper, Rhett Ballard and newcomer Taylor McClain. Defensively, Linebacker play is strong, led by Matt Pierce. Skill position talent may come from newcomers with QB Cadden Cowan and RB Xavier Sanchez. Turner thinks that if QB play is solid, and the defense stops the run, the team will be in for a good year. Turner believes that a good start to the season is critical.

Outlook: Pioneer coach John Abendschan has twelve starters returning, including capable talent at skill positions. Dante Lipscomb is back at RB after compiling more than 800 yards with thirteen scores last season. Top WRs Cameron Mavroulis and Michael Shuford return and hope that newcomer Quinton Gregory can step in and get the job done at QB. The defense will be led by LB Emeka Ekwulugo and Safeties Kirk Harberts and Matt Palmer. Improving on last year's 4-6 record seems likely.

Outlook: Rams coach David Bourquin returns seven starters from a team that won just once last season; he lost three-quarters of his 2007 roster. Moses Menchaca returns at RB, and Tanner Tuggle will start at QB. The defense will be led by Safety Dylan Bowen and LB Chris Beauchamp. The team is very young and inexperienced on a whole, and that is good news for the program down the line. This year, the Rams will likely be better towards the end of the season than at the start. Outlook: Coach Eddie Paul's Hornets were winless last season and must break in a new QB this year. Chris Edwards has departed as a veteran, dependable signal caller, and it's hard to say who will replace him. C.J. Davila and Jordan Beall will split carries at RB, and both are capable. Phillip McDaniel will serve as the blocking back. On defense, the line and secondary should be strengths. Paul's team certainly faces obstacles, but improvement is likely.
