REFORMING THE PRESIDENTIAL NOMIMATION SYSTEM:

This site is dedicated to promoting the idea of a one-day national presidential primary. I believe the current system by which we nominate our candidates for President is unfair and undemocratic. Under the present Primary/Caucus system, the nominee for his or her party is decided too quickly and by a relatively small number of voters. In a nation that likes to think of itself as the most free in the world, it should be highly important to allow everyone sufficient time to choose from among several choices for President from their party. A national primary would help bring this about. I do not know if this proposal would give Americans better nominees for President, but at least they would truly be chosen by all the people.
