Welcome to the Stay Tuned for Danger Walkthrough
This game is the second in HerInteractive's Nancy Drew series. There are three detective levels you can choose from. If this is your first game I recommend Junior Detective.
Let's get Started.
Introduction
After Nancy finishes reading the letter, click on Mattie's house on the map. Go inside and down the hallway to talk to Mattie. When you finish talking to her start exploring around the house. Be sure to get the remote from the chest by the window.
WWB Studio
Then head out the main door and click on the WWB Studio in the upper left hand corner. Inside the studio explore around some and then talk to the security guard, Ralph Guardino. He will give you a visitors pass and let you into the back area.
Turn to the left and go down the hallway. Listen the William Pappas, the producer, then turn to the right. Click forward and then click on the first door on your left. That is Mattie's dressing room. The second door is Rick Arlen's dressing room. We will talk to him later.
For now click on Mattie's door and enter. Talk to her about Rick and the death threats. Exit Mattie's room, back up, then turn right and go down the hallway. Use your pass key to open the silver doors on the left.
Exploring & Getting an Agent
After watching the scene, move forward and look under the table near where the stagelight fell. There is a clamp there. Turn to the right and take a look at the clock. Then back up and take a screwdriver from the wall to the right of the silver doors. Exit the main studio and talk to Mattie. Then go down to the opposite hallway and knock on the first door on the right.
Lillian will take your visitors pass so you need to go back to Mattie's house to see what you can do. If it is night time, click on the stairs and then on "Day" so you can talk to Mattie.
Take her advice and go talk to Dwayne Powers. You will need to click on the button beside his name several times before he will answer you. Upon receiving your new job, head over to the WWB Studio and get your pass from Ralph. Go down the hallway to where you met Lillian, but this time click on the door at the end of the hallway.
Answer Millie's riddles to gain access to the prop room. Here are the answers for all three detective levels.
Junior Detective:
Soft as a petal that falls from a tree, the more I dry, the wetter I'll be.

You can explore the prop room all you like, but there are some things you need to get first.
Get the wire cutters from underneath the map on the right side of the room.
Then take a look at the chest near the map. Read the instructions and win the game to get a key. This will be used on the clock a little later.
Then take a doorknob from the bucket next to the chest. Turn around and look at the log book on the table. Click near the pencil to see a login name and password. We will use this later. Take a close look at the typewriter on the desk.
Now we can go meet Rick. Leave the prop room and head toward Mattie's room. Instead of knocking on the first door, knock on the second door. Enter and talk to Rick about his death threats. After he leaves, explore his room. Note the chocolate on the couch, the watch on the stereo, and the notes scattered throughout his room. Click on the first drawer in his vanity and take the 3-D glasses. Then exit and head back to Mattie's Apartment.
An Exciting Discovery
When you enter Mattie's apartment, swivel around until you can see the package in the chair in the entrance. Take the package. It is a tape from Hannah! Go to the TV, turn the TV on using the remote control, and then insert the tape. Watch the short video and then head back to the studio.
Go down the right hallway and talk to Lillian. She is, as normal, not in a good mood. Now head over to Rick's room. Knock on his door. He doesn't answer, so go on in anyway. Someone has written "Die Rick" on his mirror and left a tape player. You can listen to the message if you like, but all it says is that there is a bomb in the room! Use your screwdriver to unscrew the top of the tape player, then use your wirecutters to cut the wires. Here is the order they should be cut in:
Yellow, Red, Orange, Blue
After you difuse the bomb, you will hear sirens and will be taken back to Mattie's. After talking to Ned and Bill Pappas, back away from the phone. Look at the letter in front of the bird statue. It contains the code for the talent entrance:
3-6-8-9
Now we can explore the studio at night! Go up the stairs in the apartment and click on night.
Night Time Explorations
Exit the apartment and go to the studios. However, instead of entering through the main doors, click to the left to get to the talent entrance. Use the above code to enter the studio. Now, you need to be careful, because the security guard will catch you in the hallways. Get from room to room as quickly as possible. The first place you need to go is to Lillian's office. Use your passkey to break into the room. Take a good look around the office. Get a disk from one of the books on the shelf above her desk. Read the paper from the fax machine. Look through the drawers, noting the rubber cement and castor oil. Next, take a look at the notepad. Use the pencil to rub the notepad and see that "Sorpressa Chocolates" used to be written threre. Looks as if Lillian is the one who sent the chocolates to Rick!
Now we can take a look at the computer. Insert the disk from the book then click on the monitor. Use the login info from the prop room to log in.
LOGIN: millie, PW: wwb1958
Click on the cabinet, however you will be denied access. Click on the disk and read the letter ro Rick. Click on the printer to print something. Click on the key and note that the password for the control room is ACTOR. Now go to the printer and pick up the paper. Next, turn around and find the clipboard that is under the TV. Use the 3D glasses to see what is written there. It will show you how to decode the password to the control room! You can figure this out yourself or use a spoiler later. Now exit her office.
Go to the clock on the set stage. Insert the clock hand you won from the game in the prop room on the 11 o'clock spot. The clock will give you a key. Back up, and go up the spiral staircase on the left. Use the following code to enter the prop room:
In the prop room there are two things that you have to do. First off, head to the corner and use the key from the clock to open the panel in the wall. Flip the switch from off to on. Then turn and pick up a tape from the stacks. That is all that is required in here, but you can explore some more if you'd like. Head back down the stairs and over to the other side of the studio where you see some couches and chairs. There are two large metals doors on the wall. Use your key from the clock to open them. Maneuver the levers to look like the example on the wall. If you can't figure it out, use the spoiler below:
Top lever – Right 1
Middle lever – Right 1
Top lever – Right 1
Bottom Lever – All the way right
When the levers are in order, press the yellow button. Now go back to the main stage area and look behind the couch. A lift has appeared! Hop on and use the lever on the left to lower yourself down. Go down the passage and use the other lift to go back up. You are now in the locked area of the prop room! Note the ID# from the passkey in the shirt then go back to the main stage. You can now use that ID# in Lillian's computer!
Head to Lillian's office and use the ID on the cabinet section of the computer and note that this guy has been on set everytime Rick has been injured or received a threat! You need to get more info on this guy. Exit through the talent exit and head to Power's Agency office.
Ring the bell for Hess Grumbly and he will let you in. Use your passkey to unlock Dwayne's office door. In his office, take a good look around. First, check his coat and find numbers written on one of his cards. Go through the drawers in Dwayne's desk and notice a plane ticket, spirit gum, and a clipboard with a drawing of a tape player, just like the one in Rick's room! Next look at the briefcase and use the numbers from Dwayne's wallet. Take the keys from inside and look at the check and papers. Use the keys to open the file cabinet and look at Rick's, Mattie's, and Owen Spayder's files. Now go back to the apartment.
The Final Stages
When you enter the apartment, you will notice a ticking sound. Open the package on the chair. It is a fake bomb with a threatening warning! Use the TV to play the tape from the control room and see a mysterious man, then Dwayne appear on the tape. Go up the stairs to switch to daytime, then head to the studio.
Speak to Lillian about Owen Spayder and confront her about the chocolates. You get fired! Next talk to Millie, Mattie, and Rick about Owen and Dwayne. That is about all you can do here, so head back to Mattie's. When you enter, you will receive a phonecall from Lillian, asking you to meet her at the studio later tonight. Go up the stairs, change to nighttime, and head to the studio!
The End
Go through the talent entrance and head straight to the sound stage. Lillian will show you the letter she received. You can guess whoever you like as the culprit. The culprit will blackout all the lights. Question the culprit. When the culprit begins his descent from the control room, pull the fire alarm. Click on the lock to the left of the door. The combonation is random so there is no spoiler. If a button stays down, that is the correct one. Then you have to choose a second. If the first one pops back up you chose incorrectly. If they both stay down, that is the correct order. Keep doing it until they are all down. Ralph will come in and save the day just in time!
