Blennerhassett Day Camp

· The day camp is at Veteran’s Memorial Park (near the airport) on June 11-12.

· Theme is Luau

· No open toe footwear

· Show up 7:45-8:00 AM

· Registration due by May 14 – Everyone interested in attending needs to let Mike Murphy know by May 11. Those who signed up at the Pack meeting do not need to contact him again.

· Price is $20 per Cub Scout with an additional $5.00 for Webelos overnighter.

· All people attending (Cub Scouts and parents) need to fill out the health form that can be found at the following link: http://www.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/34605_Letter.pdf

Ohio River Sweep

· Scouts and adults need to sign up by Pack Meeting on May 25 to insure a T-shirt. You can sign up until June 10, but you might not get a T-shirt.

· Volunteers must sign a waiver of liability. They are available at http://www.orsanco.org/images/stories/files/riverSweep/waiver2010.pdf or I will have copies at the Pack Meeting and at Civitan Park. Please try to fill it out in advance.

· Anyone less than 18 years old must have parental permission to participate and must have an adult with them at all times.

· Arrive at Belpre Civitan Park in Belpre no later than 8:45 am for a 9:00 am departure. Try to arrive by 8:30 am if you have not already completed the waiver.

· Participants will need to wear long pants, gloves and sturdy shoes/boots.

· Sun screen and hats are strongly suggested for protection from the sun and insect repellant is also highly recommended.

· The Blennerhassett Island State Park Superintendent, Donna Smith, is providing transportation aboard the Island sternwheeler.

· T-shirts will be handed out on Saturday morning at Civitan Park, and a group photo of everyone wearing their T-shirts will be taken when we reach the island.

· DuPont and the Wood County Solid Waste Authority will provide Subway sandwiches, chips and drinks at a designated shelter.

· The transport back to Civitan Park will follow lunch with depart from the Island promptly at 12:30 pm and return to Belpre Civitan Park shortly thereafter.
