Every wooden tube is different.  The photos will provide you an approximate color and grain pattern. 

Cherry is a premium American hardwood prized for its natural luster, attractive grain, and rich, warm glow. Cherry varies greatly in color. Cherry will darken over time to a deep reddish brown.

Each tube is made from the same board. Sawn in order, machined and a hex shaped tube is glued up. The outside of the hex shape is turned to form the round tube.
