About Me
In my opinion, I find it difficult to write an "About Me" page. If writing about family or friends, that would be fairly simply and fun to do. I understand that sometimes people want to learn more about the person behind the site, while others just aren't interested. So if you've landed here, I'll take it that you're curious.
Let me start by saying I have always loved to draw. As a young child, I was the kid in the class room whom others brought their drawing projects to. Around the holidays, especially Christmas time, the teachers would allows us to have drawing time. This, I always loved and looked forward to! As early as the first grade, it wasn't long till the other children noticed my drawings and wanted me to draw them pictures for coloring too. Once this got started, they kept a watch on every drawing I made. When I would create something new, everyone else had to have one.
After my school days I got into other things, various arts & crafts, music, carpentry work, even made my own lawn furniture and etc. Then came the "home computer age" when everyone was getting a home computer system, and I found something that totally fascinated me. Starting out with my first home computer I later ended up becoming a PC Master Technician. Through all this, and though I loved building computer systems, I found the computer graphics on the internet were much more exciting. People were making all kinds of beautiful and even animated graphics! These looked much different from my hand drawings that I had been used to in the past. And how did they do such beautiful colorings on a computer? Needless to say, the computers got me back into my drawings and doing what I've always loved most. I still use my hand drawings very often. I make new drawings, scan them on my system, or may use my large sized Wacom drawing tablet. I love my PSP, (Paint Shop Pro) and use it for working with my drawings and making new graphics. This of course, brings us to the present and the purpose for my site. I offer most of my graphics for free, (linkware), and also create special graphics for web sites. I'm no expert but I do love helping others and sharing what I've learned.
Besides all of this I also love my "Border Collie" dog, Poky! (You can see pics of her below.) Oh, and did I mention I love my family and friends? These are the people who lift me up when I am down, encourage me when I feel I can't go on, pray for me when I'm needing help, love me when I'm un-lovable, set me straight when needed, and are there for me all the time. Thanks to all:
Bernice B., Beverly F., Brenda M., Carolyn E., Freda G., Jenny W., Letha D., Lisa B., Stacey S., and Tina K.,
you're wonderful and no one could ask for any better! Now that you're a little more acquainted with me, get on to the rest of the site! (But first view the photos of my "super intelligent" dog, Poky!)

Poky's crouch/herding mode. Poky just relaxing.
This is my Poky, she's such a fantastic dog! She loves everybody and is great with children. She is so smart she never ceases to amaze me. Every summer neighbors and their children come to play with Poky as she loves fetching sticks. I think what they love most is her crouching mode as she waits for the stick to be thrown. Poky was only about 8 months old in this pic but isn't she beautiful! Notice her full white collar and she has some freckles. She has beautiful, even markings, and is a wonderful self thinker. (Most of the time she knows what I'm going to do before I do!) Timmy and Letha I could never thank you enough for my wonderful dog, she'll always be my baby. God bless you both always! I'll update her pics shortly since she's all grown up now, she's beautiful!
