To save an image to your hard drive:
PC: Place your mouse pointer on graphic or image and RIGHT mouse click, go down to "Save Image/Picture As", and click with LEFT mouse button and a box will appear. At the top of the box it says "Save As". Toward the bottom of the box you should see the file name and directory it's going to save the file in. If this is okay click on "Save". If not, choose another directory at top of box to save it in.
Mac: Click on image and hold until a menu appears, then click on "Save Image/Picture As", navigate to the directory you want and click on "Save".
Note: Be careful about downloading graphic files. Many are copyright protected and you can't use them, others are "Linkware" which means the owner requires a link back to the site if you use them. They will also state how they may be used. Linkware does not mean that you link to that graphic or image on their page, this is refered to as "Hot Linking" and is stealing someone's bandwidth which could cost them extra money and is illegal. They can and will trace you down. Instead, you copy the image to your hard drive as stated above, and copy their logo or banner just as you did the image, to place on the page you will be using their graphic/image. Any page that has graphics or images that are Linkware always gives complete instructions for doing so, please follow the site's instructions and read their requirements for use. If in doubt about it, e-mail the owner or webmaster and ask them.

Copy & Paste - To copy some text, place your mouse cursor at the beginning of the text you want to copy and click, holding down on the button until you reach the end of the text you want copied, release button. The text should now be highlighted. Make sure it includes all that you want copied. (If not, simply click in a clear spot, and repeat the steps above until you have the desired text highlighted.) Click up top in the browser on the word "Edit", go down to "Copy" and click. This has copied the text you wanted. But now you must paste it to keep it. Open a text editor such as Notepad. Click on the word "Edit" up top, go down to "Paste" and click. The text you copied will now show up in that Notepad. Click on the word "File" in Notepad up top, go down to "Save As" and click. Name this new file so you can easily find the text when you need it, and save it in a directory that is easily remembered, like your Homepage folder or maybe on your desktop. Now when you need this text you can easily locate it for use. You would use the same procedure to copy and paste the text in your Notepad editor when working on your personal Homepage.
To add my link for using my free sets: Copy and paste the following text in your Homepage index.html Notepad editor where you want my banner to appear. (This is usually placed at the bottom of the Home page and every page you add to your site.) Next, right click on my banner graphic and save to your hard drive, (following the steps above for saving graphics/images), saving it in your Homepage folder. If you have any problems please let me know.
