In a 1652 deposition in Northumberland Co., MD, Cuthbert Phelps gave his age as 29, thus he

would have been born in 1623

In October 1654 he leased land from John Wood in Westmoreland Co., VA

In April 1656 he sublet his lease to Isaac Allenton.

as headrights for transporting 21 people to the colony. The people transported included (1) himself, (2) Frances Phelps, (3) Derby Phelps, (4) Edward Phelps, (5) Bartholomew Phelps, (6) Pricilla Phelps, & (7) Cuthbert Phelps, Jr.
