The club meets monthly, ordinarily on the third Thursday of each month. Currently, we are "perching" at Coolers Ice House, located at 3622 1/2 Ryan St. in Lake Charles (337-477-1957). Our thanks to owner, Tom Reed and his staff for their hospitality! Meetings start at 6:00pm and all members are encouraged to bring guests that they feel may like to join the club. The meetings are social gatherings, giving our phlock the chance to mingle. All of the club business is conducted by our club's leaders at a separate meeting. At our meetings, we usually enjoy live entertainment, will make a few announcements and have a raffle for door prizes. We also will have all of our club merchandise available at these gatherings. We also have a First Friday of the Month Happy Hour at The Frosty Factory on Common St.. These happy hours are informal gatherings and generally start around 5pm. There is also a business meeting every first Thursday of the month. The location of this meeting may change from month to month. Email Gary for details concerning the business meetings. While the meetings are primarily for the board to conduct the business of the club, interested members are also welcome to attend. |
