Finding agates on
Big Lagoon beach

Like Agate Beach in Patrick's Point State Park, there is good agate hunting on the pebbly beach at Big Lagoon.  You can avoid the long, steep descent and climb necessary in Patrick's Point State Park by driving to the beach at Big Lagoon Park.  But when hunting agates, don't ever turn your back on that treacherous surf!
