My name is Jerry Preas and the Preas Page is back on line. I am no Web Master and I am only using Microsoft FrontPage to quickly set this up for now. I want to keep it simple - easy for anyone to use, kids to Grandparents. What you will find here is information that has been gathered over a period of almost 30 years. I am not a professional genealogist. I am just a family member interested in gathering as much information (stories, pictures, and data) as possible to share with every family member that is interested in their family history. I have tried to keep everything as accurate as possible, but mistakes can and will be made. I hope you help in correcting any that you find by e-mailing me at jrpreas@suddenlink.net and, though it may take some time, I will correct it.
Previously, when the Preas Page was on the web, many family members contributed to this page with their pictures, stories and data. And a special thanks goes out to each and every one of them for their generosity. If you would like to share any information please attach them to an e-mail and send them to jrpreas@suddenlink.net - Older pictures are one of the greatest "requested for" items - the older the picture the better - but those from 1860's to 1940's are most welcomed. These family members should not be forgotten and the photos are treasures to many people. They also put a face to a family member and the events of their lifetimes. When they are posted I will reference your name as a contributor unless you request me not to.
Again, this is a work in progress right now and I am slowly adding more information, so check back often. If you should have any problems, please contact me and I will try to find/fix the problem.
