I Won't Tell
This tutorial was written by QueenBrat on 12/05/08 using PSP 9. Any version of PSP should work.

Supplies Needed:
PSP program of your choice (Free trial version PSP12 here.)
Animation Shop (Get a free 30 day trial here.)
Tube of your choice
Fonts of your Choice (One Fat, One Script, One Text)

(Your pop up stoppers will need to be turned off if you click the link and nothing happens.)
1. Open the file QueenBratDesigns_SnowAnimation08.pspimage from your supplies zip. This will be your working graphic.
2. Increase the canvas size to 700x700 to give you some area to work in.
3. Open a background paper from your kit. I used: QBD_BearyChristmas_Paper16.jpg.
4. Copy and paste the background paper into your working graphic as a new layer. Move to the bottom.
5. Open the mask WSL_Mask117.jpg in the supplies zip.
6. Apply the mask to the background paper.
LAYERS > NEW MASK LAYER > FROM IMAGE > SOURCE LUMINACE > FIND ON DROP DOWN MENU > CLICK OK > MERGE GROUP.
7. Open a frame from the scrap kit. I used: QBD_BearyChristmas_Frame02.png.
8. Resize to 450x450 pixels. Copy and paste into your working graphic as the top layer.
9. With your Magic wand highlight the area on the inside of the frame.
10. Go to SELECTIONS > MODIFY > EXPAND > 10 PIXELS.
11. Go to SELECTIONS > INVERT.
12. Click on each snow layer one at a time and click delete to remove the snow outside of the frame. Deselect.
13. Open the file QBD_StockXchngPhoto_ByeByeSanta.jpg included in your supplies zip.
14. Copy and paste into your working graphic as a new layer below all of your snow frame layers. Position to your liking. I positioned mine like this:
15. Go back to your frame layer. With your Magic wand highlight the area on the inside of the frame.
16. Go to SELECTIONS > MODIFY > EXPAND > 10 PIXELS.
17. Go to SELECTIONS > INVERT.
18. Go to your Santa photo layer and click delete to remove the extra picture that is outside of the frame.
19. Open one of the snowflakes in your scrap kit. I used: QBD_BearyChristmas_Snowflake01.png. Resize the snowflake to 200x200 pixels.
20. Copy and paste the snowflake into your working graphic as a new layer below your santa pic layer. Position to your liking. I placed mine in the upper righthand corner.
Add a drop shadow of: vertical=1, horizontal=1, Opacity=54, Blur=7.92, Color=#000000
21. Go to your frame layer and add a drop shadow.
Add a drop shadow of: vertical=1, horizontal=1, Opacity=54, Blur=7.92, Color=#000000
22. Increase your canvas size to 750x700 by adding the 50 pixels to the left side of your working graphic.
23. Open the file: QBD_BearyChristmas_Tree03.png from your scrap kit. Resize to 358x550 pixels.
24. Copy and paste into your working graphic as your top layer.
Add a drop shadow of: vertical=1, horizontal=1, Opacity=54, Blur=7.92, Color=#000000
24. Resize the entire working graphic to 600x560 pixels.
25. Open the file: QBD_BearyChristmas_Bow14.png in your scrap kit. Resize to 236x172 pixels.
26. Copy and paste into your working graphic as the top layer. Position to your liking.
Add a drop shadow of: vertical=1, horizontal=1, Opacity=54, Blur=7.92, Color=#000000
27. Copy and paste your tube into your working graphic as the top layer. Position to your liking.
Add a drop shadow of: vertical=1, horizontal=1, Opacity=54, Blur=7.92, Color=#000000
28. Add 40 pixels to your canvas size to the bottom of your working graphic.
29. Open a complimenting but contrasting paper to your frame from the kit. I used: QBD_BearyChristmas_Paper06.jpg. Resize the paper to 250x250 pixels.
30. Set this paper as your text fill (or background.) Set your foreground (or stroke) color to: #000000
31. Text settings:
Create as: Vector
Font: Arial Black (Or Fat font of your choice)
Size: 54
Stroke: 1
Alignment: Center
Anti-alias: Smooth
Kerning: -50
32. Type out the word 'NAUGHTY' (ALL CAPS) and position at the top of the frame above the Christmas tree layer.
Convert to raster layer. Add a drop shadow of: vertical=1, horizontal=1, Opacity=54, Blur=7.92, Color=#000000
33. Using the same foreground and background colors let's now add the words 'If You're' above the word 'Naughty'.
Text settings:
Create as: Vector
Font: SP Shop-a-holic (Or font of your choice)
Size: 42
Stroke: 1
Alignment: Center
Anti-alias: Smooth
Kerning: -50
Convert to raster layer. Add a drop shadow of: vertical=1, horizontal=1, Opacity=54, Blur=7.92, Color=#000000
34. Repeat Using the same foreground and background colors let's now add the words 'I Won't Tell' below the word 'Naughty'.
Text settings:
Create as: Vector
Font: SP Shop-a-holic (Or font of your choice)
Size: 42
Stroke: 1
Alignment: Center
Anti-alias: Smooth
Kerning: -50
Convert to raster layer. Add a drop shadow of: vertical=1, horizontal=1, Opacity=54, Blur=7.92, Color=#000000
36. Add your copyright info and watermark/logo to your graphic.
37. Add a new raster layer. Flood fill with #FFFFFF and drop to the bottom.
38. Add your name to the graphic. I used a sript font with the same foreground/background and the following settings:
Create as: Vector
Font: SkinDeep BB (Or font of your choice)
Size: 96
Stroke: 1
Alignment: Center
Anti-alias: Smooth
Kerning: 0
Convert to raster layer. Add a drop shadow of: vertical=1, horizontal=1, Opacity=54, Blur=7.92, Color=#000000
39. Merge together all layers abover the snow frames. And merge together all the frames below the snow frames.
40. Resize your working graphic at this time if desired.
41. You are now ready to set it up for Animation Shop.
42. Begin by checking that the visibility to Frame 1 of the snow is on.
43. Copy Merged and Paste as New Image. This is your new working graphic.
44. Turn off visibility of Frame 1 and turn on visibility of Frame 2.
45. Copy Merged and Paste as New LAYER into your new working graphic.
46. Turn off visibility of Frame 2 and turn on visibility of Frame 3.
47. Copy Merged and Paste as New LAYER into your new working graphic.
48. Continue turning off visibility of previous merged frame and turning on the next until you do all 8 snow frames.
49. You should now have a new working graphic of 8 frames.
50. Save to an easy to find location on your harddrive.
51. Go to animation shop.
52. Open the image you just saved.
53. Go to EDIT > SELECT ALL > ANIMATION > FRAME PROPERTIES > SET TO 20.
54. Open the file . Resize to your desired size. I resized to 25%. Select two frames and add a star. Next one pick two different frames and so on.
55. Save as an animation.
