November 2009 : Slowly recording
ambient/instrumental tunes for perhaps a Jan/Feb 2010 album.
Time in the woods with my sons during hunting season here in
Northeast Texas should contribute inspiration (but also pull
me out of the studio most weekends).
The autumn weather and a renewed
sense of roots has me folksy/country/bluegrassy in attitude.
Images of romanticized and rugged Westerns play on my mind. I
crave manual labor. I sense a coming revolution.
Also planning a stripped-back
acoustic collection of songs we've introduced at Mt. Olive for
other churches to adapt to their own praise teams and instrumentation.
