The weather is always wonderful in Chocowinity

Judy and BJ enjoy retirement in Chocowinity, NC in Cypress Landing.

We enjoy sailing on our 30 foot S2 Sailboat, the “Seaowl.”  We added a Bimini and a "Camper" enclosure to our cockpit in 2003 so we are not bothered by bugs or inclement weather.

We have a new marina dock system which was installed in 2004 and it, and the Bay Club on the hill to the right, overlooking the marina, are wonderful places to enjoy retirement.  Our home is also on the water, just to the right of this picture,

We live on the water, in a cottage that overlooks Chocowinity Bay.  You can see the Marina through the trees.  Yes, it does snow here once every year, but it melts by noon the next day.

There is nothing like sunrise over the water.  We took this picture on an overnight cruise on the Intracoastal Waterway, on Campbell Creek.

This is a view from our boat at anchor at Bath Creek, on a misty morning in the fall.  Come see us and enjoy the best of North Carolina.
