Forgery and Fraud

The Ruston Police Department has one officer who is a full-time forgery and fraud investigator. This office handles such crimes as check, bank and credit card fraud, both on the local level and internet fraud. We also investigate cases of identity theft. Today's modern technology has allowed identity theft, credit card and internet fraud to become a common, everyday offense that requires a full time investigator with the resources to reach far beyond our city limit lines.
