A white male described as
being 50-60 years old, 200-250 pounds and around 6 feet tall
reportedly walked up to a bank teller and slipped her a note
demanding all of the $50 and $100 bills in her cash drawer.
Police said the suspect was one of the first customers of the
day. He implied to the teller that he had a weapon, but none of the
witnesses ever saw one.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, according to witnesses.
Anyone with information should call Monroe police at 329-2600 or
CrimeStoppers at 388-2274 (CASH).
Ruston police were still searching Friday for a suspect in the
Monday robbery of a credit union.
Ruston police responded at 2:22 p.m. Monday to Forest Kraft
Credit Union at 818 West California Ave.
Lt. Curtis Hawkins said that a tall, slender, dark-skinned black
male with severe acne on his face entered the credit union and
demanded money from an employee. He wore a white T-shirt and baggy
jeans.
The teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash, and
he left the area.
Police are unsure if he left on foot or in a vehicle.
Anyone with information about this robbery should call Ruston
police at 255-4141.
