A vehicle belonging to a top official in Ruston is
back in Lincoln Parish after a West Monroe man was arrested early
Monday morning driving it.
Fabe Ingram, 45, 4024 New Nachtitoches St., was pulled over
shortly after 1 a.m. on Adams Street in Monroe in a 2003 gold
Mercedes. Monroe police apparently learned the vehicle belonged to
Ruston Mayor Dan Hollingsworth after Ingram could not produce
registration or insurance information.

Monroe Chief Ron Schleuter
said the car was in Monroe to be worked on while Hollingsworth was
out of town. "It had been left at a detail shop apparently and
was being operated by Mr. Ingram," Schleuter said.
It was not clear if Ingram worked at the shop.
During the stop, officers learned Ingram had an outstanding
warrant for an unrelated theft.
Ingram was booked into the Richwood Correctional Center on three
counts of theft and was issued a traffic citation.
Bond was set at $3,000.
Ruston police officers retrieved the car for Hollingsworth, the
police report said.
Hollingsworth could not be reached for comment late Monday.
