Black male robbed Subway this morning

The Ruston Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 9:30 a.m. today at the Subway restaurant on Cooktown Road.
A black male, wearing dark clothing entered the Subway restaurant, produced a handgun and demanded money, according to police. The suspect then forced all of the employees into the cooler in the back of the store. He fled the restaurant with an undetermined amount of cash, and his direction of travel is unknown.
The suspect was described as a black male, approx. 5’10” tall wearing dark clothing.
Anyone with information about this crime should call Crime Stoppers at 255-1111. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect or any other felony crime.
“We are thankful that none of the employees or customers were injured during this crime,” said Ruston Police Public Information Officer Lt. Curtis Hawkins. “We hope someone will come forward with information that will assist us in identifying and locating this suspect.”
