The pile of clutter on the ground grew as Daniel clumsily

patted down  his vest pockets and various other clothing

compartments, dumping as he went.

“I know those bullets are here somewhere...” he muttered

as he continued unloading.

Sweat-stained and weary from the skirmish that had just waged,

Jack could only watch in exasperated amazement as the hunt for

lost clips continued.

“You’ve got to be kidding me. You’ve LOST your bullets?! ”

Nervously Daniel glanced at the irate Colonel, attempting to judge

how he'd take the news, “I...uhhh... may have dumped them

so I could carry these rocks.”
