One mans’ garbage is another mans’ treasure.

      

Picked it up for a buck at a Saturday morning garage sale    

 

One touch and my world changed, expanded, exploded.     

 

My life forever altered from monochromatic to technicolor.

 

Vicariously I lived unimaginable adventures and learned

that, yes -- there are heroes.   

                                                                

In all shapes – In all sizes – from petite Doctors who gave the 

ultimate sacrifice to large Colonels who have pushed that envelope

more times than luck should allow. 

 

Yet the cost was almost too much for me – but the hero came through again.
