All of my Halloween endeavors are for outdoor displays, so I wanted to built a crypt for my FCG and it turned out extremely well if I do say so myself. I won't give specific dimensions because if you decide to undertake the project you will need to determine what size you want to make it. Just take the time to sketch out a plan before getting your parts and making any cuts.

My plan consisted of building a PVC frame (ease of teardown and storage), plastic (melamine) wallboard, and a plywood roof. This would offer the best weather protection for the prop. I intended it to be 48"x48"x72" because the wallboard is in 4x8 sheets. Due to my extensive construction background (read none, and I admit it), it ended up being 50"x50"x75"…I forgot to allow for the connectors when cutting the PVC lengths…

Measure twice, cut once, and dry-fit, dry-fit, dry-fit. I glued only the top and bottom sections of the frame and added door supports in the front to use for a grill door (yet to be built). The roof consisted of plywood, a flexible corner guard, and rough-cut fascia board all painted to look like grey marble.
