Opening Worship

      In a change from recent years, the opening communion worship service will take place in the ballroom at the Holiday Inn Trustmark Park at 3:30pm on Tuesday, April 13^th. Opening worship, morning devotions, and evening prayer are pastors’ conference events under its leadership.

            Proclamation: Kurtis Schultz

            Celebrant: LaVaugn Wiggins

            Musicians: Ben Bahr (keyboard), Kevin Kieschnick (trumpet)

Morning Devotion Leaders

      Thank you for helping with morning devotions. It’s very important that we start at the scheduled time. Only twenty minutes total are allotted for morning devotions. Please plan accordingly, remembering that it’s a devotion, not a preaching service, so that your spoken comments should be short. You need to provide any handouts, music, and technology, other than the microphone in the room. If using audio-visual equipment, please check with John Karle, rather than the hotel. Members of the pastors’ conference are providing all technology; not the hotel. Opening worship, morning devotions, and evening prayer are pastors’ conference events under its leadership. Please coordinate themes and texts with other devotional leaders by March 31^st.

Sectional Presenters

      Thank you for your willingness to present a breakout sectional. Your sectional time and location will be listed in the conference schedule. There are three sectional spaces, which are created by dividing the main room with sliding room dividers. Each space will hold about 35 people in chairs set up lecture-style.

      You need to provide any handouts, music, and technology. If using audio-visual equipment, please check with John Karle, rather than the hotel. Members of the pastors’ conference are providing all technology; not the hotel. We will work to coordinate resources.

      Sectionals are 50 minutes long, max, including questions.

Wednesday Banquet and Evening Prayer

      Details on the Wednesday banquet and evening prayer will be available soon.

      Opening worship, morning devotions, and evening prayer are pastors’ conference events under its leadership.

      Pastors’ Conference Officers will prepare the orders of worship and the pastors’ conference will reimburse for associated expenses.

      Our Redeemer Lutheran Church – Clinton, MS will prepare the banquet (at a cost of approximately $11 per person) and the pastors’ conference will reimburse for associated expenses.
