Deep in to the night, Dygress swung the mighty Forgemate. Again and again the hammer struck the Enchanted metal, giving off an eery ringing sound that could be heard all the way out to the graveyard. Carefully Dygress followed the instructions on the ancient scroll he had found in the hills of Silver Lake. Each step bringing him closer to creating a Master Sword of unparalleled power that Vormis has yet to see. The blade was unequalled by any in the land, for just above the hilt, faceted in the purest of Norium sat the heart of this weapon...the Ruby of Eventide! As Dygress neared completion of the weapon, he noticed to his horror that the bottom corner of the scroll had been badly burned and could not be read. Coming this far, Dygress tried to complete the blade without knowing the last part of the enchantment. This was his fatal mistake. As the Forgemate struck the weapon for the final blow, the blade and Ruby exploded in a mighty blast that shook the foundation of Kaj Blood. As Dygress pulled himself from the rubble, he noticed that some of the shards of the ruby had pierced his armor and drove themselves deep into his chest. Slowly he could feel the effects of the Ruby fogging his mind. Soon Dygress was mad from the dark magics locked inside the Ruby!
Somewhere in Kaj Blood, Dygress is roaming the lands...mad from the effects of the Ruby. Your mission is to find and subdue him. Then you must take him to Haramon in the Keep so that he may be healed of the dark magics that drove him mad. Be careful though...he may run or even attack you! Good Luck!
INSTRUCTIONS FOR EVENT::
All participants report to Kaj Blood town. Turn on your pvp to always accept battles. Once the event is declared started, find Dygress and subdue (kill) him. Take his body to Haramon to be cleansed (rezzed). Be aware that while you carry his body, you may be attacked by other participants and they can then steal his body from you. The guildie that successfully makes it to the keep and gets Dygress rezzed is the winner. Your prize will be given to you after the event is over. NOTE!!! There will be no camping at or near the keep. You must be actively trying to find him. Once inside the keep, the winner is considered SAFE and may not be attacked anymore.
