McMurray and Son's 'Mac-1' Markers

Image of boomer3.jpg

My tired old Mac-1 Avenger.   I call it 'Boomerang' or 'Boomer' for short.  I've sold this marker to complete strangers twice now but somehow I always end up with it again.  'Boomer' has almost every feature you could put on a Sheridan based pump.  Tank is a 3.5 ounce on/off.  The Taso 'Nice-butt' buttstock is one of the first one's they produced.  Cheap press-on muzzle brake, Mac-1 Autotrigger, Battle Grips and an original Cooper-T EZ Pull bolt.  Getting ready to do a complete inside out restoration.

California Style Avenger

California Style Avenger after restoration and as sold on eBay.   When I first bought this rig it was in horrible condition.  It had spent the last several years someplace where it was partially exposed to the elements.  Several runners of 'Devil Grass' had actually grown up the muzzle and out the feed port.   Some heavy corrosion and bad seals.  Restoration took a bit of doing.   Tank was dated '88.  Sorry this is such a poor image.

Mac-1 Annihilator

Toshi Tanaka's Annihilator.   This is a Mark 2 Model.    Has mac-quick drop out changer, Stan Russel stock.   Mac-1 Autotrigger, Custom Grips, Delrin Cooper-T EZ Bolt, velocity adjuster.    Notice the 'Stick' feeders in the foreground.   When was the last time you saw one of those?   The other foreground object is a dismantled silencer.

Mac-Quick Quick Changer

Close up of the Mac-Quick Changer.

Detail of Russel Stock

Detail of the stock, is that sweet or what?    Very light weight and attractive

Old Avenger.

An Avenger.  This one also belongs to DeWayne Convirs.   Missing some internals from what I have been told.   'It's been sitting around here for years.'   I was also told.   I about strangled him at that.   In all those 'years' how many times had I been in there looking to buy ANYTHING working or not that he had laying around?    Oh well.   I've tried to buy this one a time or two but he won't cough up a price.    Hard to buy something off of someone who really doesn't need the money.
